How do I return an item?


Here at Nations, we want our customers to have the BEST and EASIEST experience when shopping on our site. Below is a step by step guide on how to make a return as well as our Return Policy . If you should have any questions, please call us directly at 888-334-2632.


Contact Customer Service at 888-334-2632 to get Approval and Authorization to return your order. We do not accept email requests to return any order. You must call.

The original Sales Receipt MUST accompany your return. Any return that do not include the original receipt will be denied. All returns must be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery of product.


Securely pack the product you ordered! We recommend that you reuse the packaging your order was shipped in and DOUBLE BOX & FOAM PACK your product. Any orders that come back damaged in shipping is the customers responsibility.


Use the shipping courier of your choice and ship item back to our location below. We recommend that you retain your tracking information. We will not be responsible for any packages that are lost in transit.

We kindly request that you include the original sales receipt when making a return. However, we understand that sometimes it may not be possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your return request.

Our return policy allows for exchanges or refunds within a generous 30 calendar days from the date of product delivery.

Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. In cases where your purchase qualified for Free Shipping, a shipping cost of $25 per box will be deducted from your credit or refund.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be in new, unaltered, and unused condition. If you receive a damaged item or an incorrect shipment from us, please contact our dedicated Customer Support team immediately by phone for prompt assistance. Defective items shipped from us or items that were not ordered but received from us will qualify for either store credit or a cash refund. Please note that powder coating charges & custom anodizing are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed after a thorough inspection of the returned item(s).

For returned items that are not being exchanged and are undamaged, a 20% restocking fee will apply. We kindly request that you contact us within 30 days if you intend to return any item to our store. Items returned to us after 30 days without prior contact will not be eligible for a refund. Please note that repair kits are not eligible for returns.

Nations Starter and Alternator is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered on order. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info entered on order. Upon inquiry, Nations Starter and Alternator will confirm delivery to the address provided, date of delivery, tracking information, and shipping carrier information for the customer to investigate. In the case that your shipment is lost or stolen in transit; the customer is responsible to file a claim with Carrier.


​Nations limited warranty program allows the customer to return their Nations product for repair for the Warranty period after the alternator purchase date. This warranty does not cover other parts or equipment on the vehicle, and does not cover labor expenses related to the removal or installation of the alternator. The warranty is VOID if the product has been modified, physically abused, misused, improperly installed, or is not used in the application for which it was designed. The warranty is non-transferrable. The customer must include a copy of the original invoice when sending in the product to receive warranty service. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to Nations for warranty service, Nations will cover return shipping in the continental 48 United States only. Customers with shipping addresses outside of that area are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
