Our Dual Alternator brackets areprecision CNC waterjet cut from solid 3/8" STEEL plate. Then we coat themwith a super durable powdercoat finish so they stay looking and working great!With our dual alternator kit, the mounting plate is securely fashioned to theengine with 4, 10MM grade 12.9 bolts which makes installation very simple andsecure.
Whyrun dual alternators?
What if you had a separate chargingsystem dedicated to the additional accessory load? By running dual alternatorsyou can do just such a thing, and doing so leaves the factory charging systemintact doing what it was intended to do, running the vehicle while thesecondary alternator carries the additional accessory load. By effectivelydoubling the available amperage of the vehicle, you can run more accessorieswith less worry, and all for about the same cost as a single high quality HighOutput alternator.

oDual alternator mounting bracket kit & 280XP Alternator & Harness. If you are planning on charging Lithium Batteries, you will need to choose which external regulator you prefer in drop down.
oOEM GM idler pulley for the bestserpentine belt life. Our competitors use alternator bearings which can causeextreme heat and destroy serpentine belts.
oGates Green Stripe serpentine belt.
oALL mounting hardware needed toinstall the bracket and alternator to the vehicle.
oAn alternator excitation harness toturn on the secondary alternator, and this kit will not cause any check enginecodes/charging lights
