Holy s**t!!! February 7, 2021 Reviewer: Patrick Cahill from DENHAM SPRINGS, LA United States   This starter blew my mind. After killing a couple Motorcraft batteries and optimas over past couple years with a struggling starter I did some research and bought the Denson. What a difference. TG228000-8420 Original Denso Gear Reduction Starte July 19, 2019 Reviewer: Padraig from Poulsbo, WA United States   Shipped same day of order and arrived 4 days later. This starter is a beast!! Weighed about 13 lbs more than the stock one, about 25 lbs total, I removed the stock starter easily by myself but it took help to get the Denso into place and bolted up. It is a tight fit and you have to tilt it and move it around a bit to get it seated. Read in forums that some people had to grind some on the frame to get it in but on my 96 F250 7.3 it was no problem.  Hit the key and truck started instantly. Amazing fast start. I think this starter will outlast me and the truck. Was this review helpful to you?
